Tell Your Story

Today I went to the press conference of StoryCorps, a traveling airsteam trailor equipt with a recording studio. Two people have a 40-minute conversation which is recorded. The couple is given a copy of the recording and another copy is sent to the Library of Congress.

Denise Franklin, General Manager of local NPR station 88.5 WFDD, held a press conference in front of the airstream which will be in Winston Square Park for the next 3 weeks. The mayor made a proclaimation that Marshall Street will be called StoryCorps Street for the duration of StoryCorps stay.

I wish that I could have done this with my mom before she died.
I wish I could have done this with my dad before he had Alzheimer's.
