While the concept is not new, Mr. SueMo and I decided to spice up our annual holiday party with a theme. Normally I am not a fan of the theme party but this one made me LOL when I heard about it from a friend: The Ugly Holiday Sweater Party!
Not wanting to offend those who love and cherish their holiday sweaters, we decided to call it the "Holiday Sweater Showdown." I e-mailed a save-the-date in September so that people were able to have a few months to find the perfect ensemble. Let me tell you, these people take their holiday themes seriously.
