Pet Owners are giving up Pets because of the Economy
Sadly, this economy is hurting pets and the shelters who board them. These stories continue to break my heart. If I ever win the lottery, I will open my own version of Dogtown in W-S.
Pictured is Windsor. He is a tri-colored Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (CKCS), a long name for a little guy. Winsdor is about 4 years old and is very loving. He loves long walks to the park and hates wearing Christmas sweaters. His favorite past times are sleeping, belly rubs, and riding in the car. Windsor has lived with us since 2005.
We received our first Cavalier, Deacon, from my mother-in-law who is a breeder. Like some Cavaliers, Deacon had an enlarged heart, which I believed was from all of the love that it contained. We loved him for eight wonderful years and I miss him every day.
Windsor has filled the void that Deacon left behind and is a wonderful companion. Windsor is also not a "show" dog. He was purchased, then returned because of a habit that he has of "stargazing." It's can be compared to trying to catch a flying bug that is not really there. Other than that little "quirk," he is perfect in every way.
I am a huge advocate for rescuing dogs and adopting dogs from a shelter. I always forward e-mails when I know there is a pet looking for a good home. Even though there are dogs that are not "perfect" or a mutt, the joy and unconditional love they provide is priceless.
Glad I found this Suemo. Hope you don't mind a visit. Merry Christmas from froggy land!

You are welcome anytime. I never expect to be an Esbee but I have enjoyed it so far. Happy New Year!
